According to Brosnan (60), who plays the role of British spy 007 fifth, in the James Bond movie, her daughter died last Friday, leaving her husband and two children.
"Charlotte fight against her cancer with sincerity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are very heavy loss of our very dear daughter," he said in a statement quoted by Reuters.
"We pray for her and that the cure for this disease will soon be at hand."
Charlotte mother is Brosnan's first wife, Australian actress Cassandra Harris, who died at age 43 of ovarian cancer in 1991.
Brosnan adopted Charlotte and his brother Christopher in the 1980s after their father died. He later had a son with Harris.
In 2001, Brosnan married to Keely Shaye Smith, and they had two children.
